Work wear Wednesday: navy scalloped dress

I find it difficult at times to dress for work when you have life events or parties on the same day. But I think I found the right balance with a cute navy scalloped dress that worked for the office and my sister's convocation. To keep things work-appropriate, I wore the dress earlier in the day with black suede flats. The scalloped dress has a shorter hemline with my height, and I needed to be comfortable as I was researching in a library, so I stuck with flats in this case. I swapped those out for a pair of iridescent holo (any holosexuals out there!? I'm addicted to Cristine's nail videos!) pumps to amp up my look into semi-formal attire for my sister's convocation. I'm wearing a navy scalloped dress from Winners (similar scalloped dress here), iridescent pumps from Vince Camuto, and a medium Harmony tote from Kate Spade. Bite Beauty Lipstick: Amuse Bouche review and swatches

I’m a huge fan of Bite Beauty lipstick. The Canadian brand is made of natural ingredients and leaves your lips moisturized and soft… the colour ranges are also so unique. I nearly lost it when I got my hands on shades from the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche collection. Featuring six shades for both Savory and Sweet. Inspired by food, this Bite Beauty lipstick collection is completely unique on the market. Keep reading the post to see my thoughts on each colour...and for some Bite beauty swatches from the Amuse Bouche collection.

Centreville

It's no secret I'm a big fan of Toronto's Islands. I love Ward's Island Beach, and even ran 15km around the island. A little while back, my sister had a picnic at Centreville and took pictures around the kitschy, nostalgic park. For a day of photo-taking and sight-seeing, I wore a breezy tank with Club Monaco scalloped shorts, which are the perfect balance between practical and cute. old navy peplum tank club monaco scalloped shorts views of toronto skyline from islands centreville vintage carousel I'm wearing a peplum tank from Old Navy, Club Monaco scalloped shorts, a periwinkle Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC crossbody bag, a Daniel Wellington watch, and denim sandals c/o DSW Canada.
