Nudestix Magnetic Eye Color Review

Nudestix is a Canadian, cruelty-free beauty brand sold at Sephora. I got a chance to learn about their products at the grand opening of the Yonge and Eglinton Sephora, and sampled the Nudestix Magnetic Eye Color pencils. These eyeshadow pencils come in both matte and satin finishes, isn't tested on animals and is free of preservatives... all the things I look for in cosmetics! Nudestix Magnetic Eye Color review: application

These products are a traditional pencil, and glide on the skin smoothly. I didn't find it scratchy at all and it was very creamy! The pencils blended easily with my fingers and I found it was best to build up coverage to create the desired look. I would definitely recommend using an eyeshadow primer, and also a matte powder shadow all over the eyelid to help create a blended look. My favourite part about the product? I LOVE that it comes with a custom, dedicated sharpener. I've ruined too many gorgeous chubby pencils with crappy dull sharpeners that are too big or too small for the product. I can feel confident that I won't completely ruin these amazing pencils!

Labour Day

Happy labour day! I hope everyone in North America have enjoyed their day off, and are ready for a new school year tomorrow. As a bit of a blog tradition, I always share an all-white look on my blog. I wore this Zara white romper and Converse sneakers for a casual restaurant date. I accessorized with a bow choker, sunglasses c/o Polette a white Swatch and a vintage leather bag outfitted with my nickname in gold letters.

It’s hard to believe that summer is coming to an end, but you don’t have to give up your rompers just yet. So how to wear a romper in the fall?  A daisy print romper and a pair of black booties can be worn right now for a sexy night out look. But with a cool leather jacket and a pair of sheer tights, you can wear a romper in fall months. I love the look of a pair of sleek, black booties and bare legs. However, a pair of patterned sheer tights really can elevate this look. I’m wearing a daisy print romper from ASOS, purple Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses, a red mini Emile tote by Alexander Wang and a pair of LAMB booties c/o DSW Canada.

Let’s go to the Ex

cne 2016 midway outfit (6 of 14) pink forever 21 dress converse low top sneakers Going to the Ex at the end of summer is a bittersweet tradition. Read on to see what to eat, where to shop and what to see at the CNE 2016! I wanted to dress comfortably, so I wore a pair of casual sneakers with a light pink dress to match the pastel, retro hues of the Midway at the Ex. I always love walking through the carnival stalls and watching the rides. The midway gets especially dreamy at night!
