Last Thursday, I had the chance to attend the Nine West store re-opening at Yorkdale Mall. The store unveiled a facelift, complete with airy interior, chic pink tufted couches and all of Nine West’s (and a couple other brands) styles for summer. Supermodel Stacey McKenzie hosted the event, while guests enjoyed refreshments and hors d’oeuvres.
I snapped a pic with Stacey, and we had the chance to chat about shoes, (one of her favourites is the black pair below) and burger week! I loved her vintage maxi gown. My sister was wearing a matching maxi dress too.
Throughout the store, Stacey had a few favourite styles from studded flats to nude pumps, marked as “Stacey’s Picks”. My favourites were the low wedge sandals because they were practical yet office appropriate sandals for summer!
I loved the way the store was categorized. I find that most stores organize by colour or style, but this location set up a ballerina bar, sandal station and pump parlour to fulfill any shoe needs… just in time for prom and wedding season!
