Styld.by LOOKBOOK Gap Event in Toronto

This week, I attended the Styld.by LOOKBOOK event at the Gap, along with a bunch of other Toronto-based bloggers and members of Lookbook.nu. The site has been an amazing community to meet people (and make friends when you’re living in a strange country), and I was so happy to meet passionate fashion people from my hometown!

The event was to promote a collaboration between the fashion social network and the GAP, which features a campaign where Lookbookers style pieces from Gap’s fall collection. Full of bright knits, classic jean items and casual basics, the collection is fun for fall.

Guests sipped on mojitos and sangria, while taking advantage of a 30 per cent discount for one-night only.

The bloggers snuck out of the party for a few minutes to take some snaps. It was so fun having everyone in the picture, and with Bobby Raffin’s keen eye, see how they work their outfits for his lens.

I wore this vintage leopard print peplum dress along with comfy leather wedges, my favourite oak satchel and a statement necklace from Utrecht.

I love that this dress is fun in the summer, but can be worn a few months from now with some thick tights, boots and a chunky cardigan.

Until then, I’m going to enjoy the last bit of summer, and the sangria synonymous with it.
