Easter Outfit Idea

Easter is almost here, and I wanted to share a sweet, girly spring look for the occasion. Easter usually involves going to church, decorating Paska (Russian easter cakes that are similar to Panettone) and a few family dinners. This Easter outfit idea is formal enough to wear to church, but still comfortable (and forgiving) for a large meal! I'm wearing a silk floral dress from Club Monaco, a Rebecca Minkoff Mini Quilted Affair bag, slingback Hilaree mules by Kelly & Katie c/o DSW Canada and vintage clip-on earrings.

Whale watching in San Diego

And I whale always love you. I have kitchen towels with this phrase on them, and ever since Daniel read (and became obsessed with) Moby Dick, whales have been a theme in our relationship. We finally had a chance to see them out in nature when we went whale watching in San Diego.

We took a four-hour tour with Hornblower Cruises, which conveniently departed from downtown. Make sure to come early and buy your tickets in advance. There was a really long line for the 9 a.m. departure time, that the cruise left 15 minutes late. It was frustrating as they could not scan a bar code to let you on the boat and you had to line up at the ticket booth. Luckily we made it on just in time!
