Easter is almost here, and I wanted to share a sweet, girly spring look for the occasion. Easter usually involves going to church, decorating Paska (Russian easter cakes that are similar to Panettone) and a few family dinners. This Easter outfit idea is formal enough to wear to church, but still comfortable (and forgiving) for a large meal!
I’m wearing a silk floral dress from Club Monaco, a Rebecca Minkoff Mini Quilted Affair bag, slingback Hilaree mules by Kelly & Katie from DSW Canada and vintage clip-on earrings.
Slingback kitten heels are a major shoe trend this spring. I love how this tweed pair adds texture, and they are incredibly comfortable with built-in padding and a low heel. I wore these Kelly & Katie slingbacks to Fashion Week and were perfect for a long night on my feet. I’m not a fan of wearing towering heels to church or formal gatherings, so these are perfect, and come in so many colours! DSW Canada has lots of cute slingback styles, in case you’re looking for some.
I think clip-on earrings need to come back. I adore this vintage pair I bought a couple weeks ago at the Toronto Vintage Show. They have beautiful coloured crystals and don’t hurt my ears. I love how they make a statement and add some colour too.
I’m also wearing a bracelet from Pandora’s new Shine collection. Each piece is handcrafted sterling silver plated in brilliant 18K gold. The collection is beautiful and I look forward to adding more pieces to my bracelet soon.
This silk Club Monaco dress was a steal from their sales rack. I love the pretty floral print, and find it works in both winter and spring. The shape is very loose, but I adore the flared bell sleeves for a fun accent. I’m looking forward to wearing this dress with trench coats, vests and other layers this spring.
I hope this easter outfit idea will give you some inspiration if you’re looking for an outfit that can work for a number of occasions. A floral dress and a pair of slingbacks is a winning, on-trend combo. Let me know in the comments below if you have any Easter traditions, or what spring items you’re looking forward to wearing soon!
