Navy & Camel | Meghan Markle Sentaler Coat

With the changing season, holiday engagements and unpredictable weather, I’m always looking for a stylish, warm topper. This camel Sentaler coat, which was worn by Meghan Markle during Christmas festivities last year is an elegant option for both work and holiday engagements. I wanted to share a fun look combining navy and camel for a classic, elegant look.

I’m wearing the Meghan Markle coat from Sentaler, a navy turtleneck from Mango, navy trousers with pearls c/o Ann Taylor, a navy bag from Kate Spade and camel suede heels c/o Ann Taylor.

This look is sophisticated, but a very easy formula to replicate. A beautiful turtleneck in a nice knit (synthetic, cashmere or merino) layers beautifully under a coat, so you don’t need to wear a bulky scarf. I tucked this turtleneck into my wide-legged cropped trousers for a streamlined look that’s perfect for the office.

For accessories, I kept things simple and stuck with solid-coloured basics. I wanted the coat to shine, so I paired a navy bag with ample storage and beautiful camel suede moccasins. I love this look so much, I’m hoping the snow stays at bay so I can replicate it with my other coats as well!

The Meghan Markle Sentaler coat, aka the Long Wide Collar Wrap Coat, is a drop-dead-gorgeous piece. The tailoring, long lines and beautiful silhouette is very feminine. I love how Sentaler’s signature ribbed sleeve is incorporated in a subtle way. This coat is lined as well, so I was nice and toasty! Long-length coats are a trend favoured by the Duchess of Sussex, and I for one am a fan. While I’m admittedly a taller woman, a petite frame can wear a 3/4 length coat as a full length coat for a similar effect. Tailoring on the sleeves is a must though! The Meghan Markle Sentaler coat is made of sumptuous baby alpaca fabric, that is both soft and warm. If you’re looking for a beautiful camel coat, I’d highly recommend this one, as I fell in love with its design and fit.

I hope my American readers are spending a lovely Thanksgiving long weekend with their families. This year, I chose not to showcase any Black Friday sales, as I’m hoping to only promote a more sustainable and professional approach to fashion. Sentaler fits into this philosophy, being a female-owned business that is supporting local manufacturing in Peru. This brand is one to watch, and I can’t wait to see what Meghan Markle wears next from this Canadian designer.
