Lemon Print Dress + Trend Spin Linkup

Nothing says spring like a fun dress, and this lemon print dress from Zara is the perfect transitional piece to go from chilly spring days to summer weddings. Layered under a jean jacket and with lace-up flats, it’s a super chic look for a day of shopping.

I’m super excited to be teaming up with Laura from Walking in Memphis in High Heels and Erin from The Fashion Canvas for their Trend Spin Linkup! The theme this week was prints, and I can’t wait to see how you were inspired. Yesterday, I shared a cherry blossom print dress, so it’s safe to say I’m obsessed with prints for spring! I’m wearing a lemon print dress from Zara (similar lemon print dress here), a jean jacket from Forever 21, lace up flats from Old Navy, lavender Ray-Ban mirror aviators, and a MAB tote by Rebecca Minkoff from Nordstrom.

I adore this light wash denim jacket. It’s the perfect layering piece to bring along when the weather is unpredictable. It looks great over a more formal dress like I’ve worn here, or with a casual jeans and tee combo. As a Canadian, I’m not afraid of the infamous jean tuxedo! I think it looks especially good with white jeans too. I also love how inexpensive this Forever 21 jean jacket was… it is seriously the perfect fit and amount of distress, that I have both the light and dark wash versions!

This lemon print dress reminds me so much of my trip to Italy a few years ago. I hope to one day visit my boyfriend’s native Sicily and take in the gorgeous Mediterranean. Until then, I’ll be sipping Mimosas in this cute printed dress on the weekends!
