Overalls are a huge trend this season, but can be a little tricky to wear. I wanted to share how to wear denim short overalls in two different ways for completely different looks. How to wear denim short overalls: Casual & Chic
This first look is an easy take on the overalls trend. I paired Topshop denim overalls with a white cropped tee, oversized black sunglasses, a leopard belt and leopard print slip-on sneakers to complete the casual ensemble.

Accessories elevate this simple denim overalls and white tee combo with a silver Michael Kors watch, spiked bracelet c/o Persunmall and a rough rock ring. The leopard belt adds interest to the plain denim and cinches in the waist. In general, I kept the colour palette simple and let the overalls be the focal point of this look.
How to wear denim short overalls: Parisian-inspired
The second look featuring the Topshop Moto denim overalls has a Parisian flair. I paired the denim short overalls with a long sleeved striped tee, 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target mini satchel, red patent Salvatore Ferragamo Vara Bow flats, and a pearl necklace from Forever 21.

I basically layered the overalls over a simple striped shirt that is a neutral backdrop, while the stripes give some interest. The pop of red in the shoes and on my lipstick also add a little bit of cutesy flair to a pair of country denim dungarees!
Whether you want to look casual for a music festival, or get mileage out of this trend on date-night, stick with neutral colours layered under the denim and add a belt or jewelry to elevate country denim overalls into an outfit ready for the city! I prefer the 2nd look with the stripes as I love the whole classy french thing going on and your red lipstick is the perfect finishing touch. Also love the leopard print belt in the other photos!
