Over the years, my wardrobe has changed a lot, and I’ve swapped trends for new styles, but a few items are a constant fixture in my closet: a button up and an amazing blazer.
For this look, I’ve paired a classic blue shirt with a jewelled collar from Kohl’s, a gold-glazed blazer from Zara (similar here), waxed jeans from Material Girl, Forever 21 boots inspired by Chloe’s Susanna bootie and my Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC.
Lately, I have been addicted to my latest Mini MAC in black. My sister got it for me for Christmas, and I find it goes with everything! Initially, I wanted this bag with gold hardware, but the silver is more neutral and I find it mixes okay with my gold jewelry.
The blue shirt is simple, but elevated with the pretty rhinestone details. It reminds me of a shirt from J. Crew, but cost a fraction of the price and fits me a lot better than J. Crew’s straight cuts (they definitely do not design for curves!) I upped the ante even more with a gold blazer, which is eye-catching and a twist on the classic camel/blue shirt combo.
