When the temperature heats up, I’m always looking for light, airy dresses. This light blue chiffon halter dress features a trendy halter neckline, pretty pleating and is super flattering, nipping in the waist. I wore it for a day of shopping, followed by a walk through Edwards Gardens.

I kept my accessories super simple for this look, a single silver lariat necklace adds a unique detail, without overpowering the soft, light-as-air aesthetic. This bag from Aldo is one of my favourites, I’ve worn it with a pretty chambray + skirt combo, and find it is the perfect size to go shopping with. It fits my wallet, keys and any makeup essentials, it has some secret pockets and the vinyl construction makes it much lighter than leather to lug around.
Before we took pictures in the garden, I had the chance to do some serious damage at the Shops at Don Mills. I’m working on a super exciting project, and I can’t wait to share more details on this blog soon!
Edwards Gardens is a gorgeous place to visit year round. I loved seeing the peonies and hibiscus plants in bloom, and will be checking back once all the roses bloom.
