Beach Please!

I’ve always been drawn to the beach… splashing around in the water or catching some rays on the sand. I love to spend a Saturday afternoon reading a book or people watching! I also love getting dressed for the beach, and finally got to wear my Zara anchor print dress and new sunhat.

I’m wearing a Zara anchor print dress (similar anchor print dress here), a sunhat from Joe Fresh, and a ring c/o Pandora.

This outfit was easy to slip on over my bathing suit and cute for strolling along Ward’s Island. Off-the-shoulder dresses are a top fashion trend of 2015, and I love this one’s nautical vibe! It was perfect for the ferry trip from mainland to the Toronto Islands.

After a couple hours on Ward’s Island beach, we walked to Centre Island to check out kitschy Centreville and the new tree maze. I loved getting lost in the maze and am so happy it was restored!

My sun hat kept blowing away, but it was perfect for keeping the sun off my face. Since I’ve been on antibiotics for my acne, I’ve been very careful to always wear a hat and SPF 60 on my face anytime I’m out in the sun!

Another thing I love about off-the-shoulder dresses is that you don’t get any tanlines! This Zara anchor print dress is the cutest thing in my summer closet, and I hope I can wear it again soon to the beach or out on a boat.

Loving the Zara dress! Anchors are so much fun for summer (we actually stock an anchor print dress too…)
