For this look, I’ve incorporated a few top trends for this season. My wardrobe is full of pastel coloured frocks and jeans, but I’ve upped the ante with this pair of printed snakeskin pants. Printed jeans are a huge trend for summer and fall 2012, and I wanted to share how to wear them.
I’m wearing metallic snakeskin-printed jeans from H&M. I’ve paired them with a matching chiffon blouse for a monochromatic look. I feel that pairing similar colours contained in the print of the jean elongates your frame instead of creating choppy blocks. My shoes are the quintessential classic: the asymmetrical court shoe from Zara. With such a punchy print on my pants, I wanted to keep my footwear clean and simple to not conflict with the pants.
My blouse from H&M features a cute trend that I can’t stop wearing: the bejeweled peplum collar. These pearls were glued on, but you can easily DIY by sewing on old pearls onto the collar of a blouse.
To keep up the monochromatic look, I’m wearing this baby blue friendship bracelet from Paris, and minty nail enamel!
With a chignon to show off my sparkly peplum and my favourite heels, this look is classic and trendy, all rolled into one.
