Bohemia

Bohemia

On one of my last days in Prague, I spent the day shopping and enjoying the city at a slower pace.

I was so inspired by Baroque buildings and romantic architecture, and wanted to reflect that in my outfit for the day.

I was wearing a baroque strapless high-low dress from Urban Planet (similar here), my Rebecca Minkoff MAC bag, a LOVE belt from Forever 21, my new shoes from Bata, and a jewelled headband from Tesco (similar here).

jewelled headbandI love the way this headband injects a little Gatsby glamour into this look. It was so windy by the river that it was also a great way to keep flyaways at bay! I think this headband would look great with an updo or bohemian braid as well.

bata shoesI have this weird tradition where I like to wear new shoes in the place I get them, especially when traveling. I believe that clothes can hold memories, and I was happy to take out these leather sandals for a stroll along the Charles Bridge. With a comfy ankle strap and low heel, I’d say these are cobblestone-approved as well!

prague mccafeAfterwards, we enjoyed some McCafe since we needed a quick grab and go pit stop. From Magnum McFlurries to apple strudel, McCafe is a lot more upscale there. I can’t get over how pretty their cappuccinos are in Europe, you almost can’t believe it’s McDonald’s.

You can check out what I bought on my shopping day in Prague here.

I’m impressed how much the place you took the first pic is with a Brazilian place in São Paulo. However, baroque is great to take inspiration for outfits and you nailed it. Congrats loved the whole post.

Thanks Brunna! I would love to go to Sao Paulo someday… I always enjoy taking inspiration from the culture, art and architecture of cities I visit, and South America would be a first!
