SSENSE Cafe in Montreal is a must see! With chic black concrete interior and amazing lattes, it's one of the top 10 Most Instagrammable Spots in Montreal

10. SSENSE Café

The SSENSE café, located in the Vieux Port is a modernist’s dream. With concrete stools and a sleek bar, the aesthetic in this café is unreal, and are matched by the matcha lattés. I recommend visiting during the workweek, or around lunch hour to beat the crowds. Many cafes make the list on the 10 Most Instagrammable Spots in Montreal, but this cafe stands out for its unique, sleek, architectural design.

10 Most Instagrammable Spots in Montreal: La Grande Roue

9. La Grande Roue de Montréal

This infamous ferris wheel in Vieux Port is a great spot to snap a pic. You can also visit the amusement park, but a nearby bridge offers a great vantage point for that iconic Montreal shot.

Pastel Rita, a chic cafe in Montreal's Mile-X is one of the 10 Most Instagrammable Spots in Montreal.

8. Pastel Rita

Up in Mile-X, this salmon pink café is right out of a Wes Anderson movie. Come for the aesthetics, and stay for the coffee, because this is one of my favourite coffee places in Montreal, only second to San Simeon in Little Italy. Another aspect I love about this café is that there is an attached atelier where a hat maker sells her wares.

7. Jardin Botanique

Do not miss the stunning gardens at Jardin Botanique. Located right beside Olympic Park, this beautiful park contains a French, Japanese and Chinese Garden. Make sure to stop by in springtime when tulips and cherry blossoms bloom throughout the park. Not only is it one of the 10 Most Instagrammable spots in Montreal, the Jardin offers programming all year long, with a lantern festival in September, butterfly garden in early spring and even a Japanese cherry blossom picnic.

Notre Dame de Montréal is one of my favourite spots to visit in Montreal, and easily one of the most Instagrammable, photogenic locations in Vieux Port

6. Notre Dame

The iconic Cathedral in the heart of Montreal’s Vieux Port is gorgeous inside and out. I highly recommend doing the tour at least once, to admire the beautiful star ceiling and altar inside. Outside, I love taking pictures in the square across the road to get a full view of the beautiful building.

This vegan restaurant is a foodie’s dream. Not only is the food delicious (get the sweet potato gnocchi and thank me later), but the décor is on point. Take a pic in one of their white rattan egg chair swings while enjoying a smoothie in one of my top 10 Most Instagrammable Spots in Montreal.

Espace Nomad is a day spa geared for Millenials in Montreal's trendy Plateau neighbourhood.

4. Espace Nomad

This modern, millennial day spa located in the Plateau neighbourhood on Saint Laurent is incredibly chic. They have a wide range of services, but even let Kiara and I sneak in to take a pic in their adorable photo set up complete with a teal couch and a neon sign.

3. Atwater Market

This adorable market near the chic Little Burgundy/Griffintown neighbourhood is a great spot to come for pictures. In spring, there are tons of flowers on sale, and in Christmas, you can visit for adorable Christmas trees and a small Christmas Market (possibly the only one in Montreal). Inside the market, you can also score amazing baked goods, meats and produce. The historical building is a great place to visit for architectural buffs as well.

Mont Royal offers gorgeous, scenic views of all of downtown, and is easily one of the number one most Instagrammable spot in Montreal.

1. Mont Royal

At the top of my 10 Most Instagrammable Spots in Montreal, the best place to take an Instagram in Montreal is at Mont Royal! Take a hike or drive to the top, whichever you choose XYZ lookout point offers the best views of Montreal’s skyline. Another lovely way to get to this point is to walk around the Westmount neighbourhood and through the cemetery for a rewarding view. Try to visit around sunset to be bathed in a golden glow.
