Work Wear Wednesday: Leopard coat & lace up flats

The trendiest shoe style of the season is without a doubt, lace up flats. I saw a pair of lace up flats first at the Nine West Fall 2015 preview, and knew I would need to own a pair for fall. I found this pair of nude leather lace up flats from Zara, and paired them with a leopard trench coat and pleated skirt for an elegant work-appropriate outfit.

She came for a visit and we spent the morning in the National Art Gallery before heading to Byward Market for dessert at Cacao 70 and some shopping. I’m loving how the city is transforming as the leaves change colours, and I’m also taking advantage of all the amazing vendors in the market selling their delicious produce. If you’re visiting Ottawa in the fall, make sure to stop by Major’s Hill Park for an awesome view of Parliament Hill and follow that up with a stroll through Byward Market and a stop at a pub or two! While Ottawa has plenty of great winter activities, I personally love the atmosphere and colours during this team of year.

I’m wearing lace up flats from Zara (similar Loeffler Randall lace up flats), leopard trench coat from Forever 21, a mustard sleeveless blouse from Zara, and a faux leather accordion pleated midi skirt from Zara (similar faux leather pleated skirt here), and a Rebecca Minkoff MAB tote from Nordstrom.

do it!!! I think the nude are easier to wear day-to-day & are a bit less sexy. I want a black pair too, we should swap! lol
