Victorian Bride

Last weekend, I modeled in the Dash Weddings show and got to wear this beautiful Victorian inspired lace wedding gown.

The dress featured a drop waist silhouette with a seperate corset and long-sleeved jacket.

I loved the intricate lace work on the sleeves and corset.  The same lace was referenced again in the skirt.

The dress also had a dramatic train with tulle exposed.

Even though it wasn’t my style, it was so much fun to wear a dramatic gown like this.  I felt like I was dripping in couture.

    Ola! Natalie Ast,
Interesting Post, Some ladies had flowers on their dresses, in their hair, etc. Brides had also flowers in their hair and on their dresses. What was the purpose/tradition of what? Was it there to cover the body odor or something like that? Was it like a nosegay to cover the odor? Or was it for decoration? Please explain.
