Valentine’s Day Outfit Idea – Striped shirt & red skirt

For the next week, I wanted to post Valentine’s day-themed looks. This is a more casual look that’s perfect for a movie date or going to school.

I’m wearing a navy and white nautical striped long-sleeved tee, red skirt from Forever 21, Wonderbra sweater tights, a Forever 21 pearl necklace and my favourite new kitten heels from Zara.

I thought that my cat, Coco was the perfect accessory to my look.

… as well as my sister’s Marc by Marc Jacobs wayfarer glasses. Surprisingly… they match my face shape too. I couldn’t wear them for too long because the prescription only doubled my already terrible eyesight.

I fell in love with these incredible red suedette shoes from Zara’s TRF collection. They had a low 1.5″ heel, ankle strap for extra support and I loved the stud detailing on the toe cap. They aren’t real suede, but for $9.99 on sale, I couldn’t resist this pair. Valentine’s day dressing doesn’t have to be all about the perfect red dress or sexy red lingerie. Pops of the passionate colour have a big effect on a look.
