Starfish Dress

I’ve always been drawn to the sea. Maybe it’s because I grew up playing on the beach in Florida in the winter, and spent my summers on the dock at the cottage. There’s something soothing and peaceful about any body of water, and I often find myself visiting Toronto’s Harbourfront to feel closer to serenity in the busy city. I fell in love with this starfish dress from Forever 21, which combines a sea motif, a feminine silhouette and rocker studs in one.

A new addition to the sights along Toronto’s waterfront is the Jack Layton statue. It instantly invites people to hop on board, promoting the motto that “Jack has your back”. While you’re down there, renting a Bixi bike is a great way to enjoy the waterfront and make it to a restaurant. Before summer’s done, I hope to bring my bike downtown or to the island to enjoy the fresh lake air.
