This look was inspired by spring. During the week I spent in Orlando, I felt like I went through all four seasons. One day was nearly freezing, and by the time I boarded my plane, I was bronzed from a day spent poolside. On the third day, I got to experience perfect spring weather, and had the chance to put together this look featuring some pieces and colours I’m so excited to wear in spring.
I am wearing a coral pink high low skirt from H&M, a pastel blue peplum top from Urban Planet, a purple rose necklace from Forever 21, pink Prada platform high heels and a Dooney & Bourke purse from the Disney collection.
I borrowed the whimsical and dainty purse from my sister, who bought it as a souvenir of our trip. It is the mini barrel style in Disney Charms print. While the size is very small, it is quite roomy for an evening bag, however it doesn’t have a crossbody or wristlet strap, so bear that in mind if you like to go hands-free. I loved the print on this bag, and it definitely suits my sister. I thought the colourful charms complimented my pastel outfit as well.
I also accessorized with this rose and crystal necklace from Forever 21. I love the purple clay roses, they almost look like they could sit atop a cupcake!
These patent pink Prada platforms (try saying it 10 times fast) are quickly becoming my new favourites! They are simple, but add another pastel shade to my outfit. I also love the hint of gold of the Prada logo on the sole.
I think I pulled off mixing pastel shades in this look by breaking up shapes. I think the key to pulling off colour blocking is to dress in solids head-to-toe and wear one piece that is structured, in this case, my peplum top.
I can’t wait to combine more pastel shades when the weather gets better, and I can pack away my opaque black tights until fall.
Natalie, that PURSE!!! I remember and adore the aristocats <3

lmao! I loved that movie too… my sister is actually obsessed with it, so when she saw it on the purse, she had to buy it. If they had a second one with the aristocats visible, I would have bought it too! Lol
