Last weekend, we celebrated my friend’s birthday with a picnic in High Park. I wanted to dress for the occasion, so I wore this J Crew embroidered dress. The dress has a vintage feel, while the racerback style is modern. I’m wearing a racerback J Crew embroidered dress (similar ASOS Full Skater Dress with racer detail and similar ASOS Native Rose Slip Dress), Kate Spade Seth bag in light crocus (sold out, similar Kate Spade Cedar Street Perforated Monday), vintage belt (similar Kate Spade bow belt) and Vince Camuto sandals.

It was my friend Dasha’s 23rd birthday and we spent the day at High Park stuffing our faces with a picnic, gluten-free birthday cake and cherries before watching As You Like It at Shakespeare in the Park. Put on by the Canadian Stage, this was only the second season I’ve caught a show, and this time, I loved the funny banter and cute 1950s-inspired costumes. It was definitely a lighter play (a huge contrast to the other production performing simultaneously this season, Titus Andronicus), and it was the perfect way to end our day!
This J Crew embroidered dress was super comfortable, but I loved how it kept its shape and didnt wrinkle after a day of laying around. The embroidery is a super bright neon, but I paired it with more muted pastels to tune it down. I find the white and neon looks great with a tan and no-fuss hair for an undone summer look.

Very pretty outfit for a day in the park! I love the table set up, too:)
You look so preppy and scream summer with this perfect little number! 😉
God bless,
