This look was about playing with textures. I love bright skinny jeans, and these peach pedal pusher pants from H&M are bright and cheery. I played with textures, pairing the cotton pants with a pleated chiffon blouse featuring a crocheted yoke and accordion pleat bottom, a wool hat and a patent bag.
My bag was a gift from my mother, in this season’s hottest hue, mint.
I love this beige top and how it compliments nearly every bottom I own. I think it’s important to balance skinny bottoms with a voluminous top for a more interesting look.
These peach pants are hard to wear, so it’s a good idea to pastel colourblock with accessories (like my purse) and wear a more neutral top to offset the colour punch. It takes your look from editorial cupcake to everyday chic.
