Orange at the Cottage

Orange at the Cottage

Today’s look was inspired by one of my favourite colours of the moment – orange. Perfect for both summer and fall, the cheery colour is warm and fun to incorporate into an outfit.

I’m wearing a scarf print chiffon blouse from Kohl’s, white eyelet shorts from H&M and kitten-heel pumps from Joe Fresh.

I am absolutely in love with these shoes! They combine so many fall trends in one. Featuring a geometric print (seen on the runways of Prada, Marc Jacobs) and their slipper silhouette is a hot trend as well. I love the combination of orange and green, it reminds me of pumpkin spice lattes, synonymous with the fall season.

I adore the print of this blouse. It reminds me of an Hermes ad I saw a while ago, combining rich royal purples with their signature orange. I’m also wearing a small orange baguette that I bought in Venice.

The best part about this look is that it’s cozy and casual enough for the cottage if you swap the heels for flip flops. An easy-breezy top and shorts is my unofficial summer uniform, and I will definitely be wearing this blouse and shoes with jeans once fall weather sets in. How do you take summer outfits and make them fall appropriate? Comment below!
