This morning I woke up from a dream. In this dream, I was walking along 7th avenue, shopping bags swinging by my side. In the next figment that I remember, I was standing in front of a camera, microphone in hand, and getting powdered up as I ran over lines in my head. Then, I remember sitting down in a chair, with flashbulbs going off in all directions… I was at Marc Jacobs’ Spring/Summer 2012 show. If only this dream could come true…

Not only would this be the most fun experience, I see this as an amazing opportunity for my career and a life-changing experience. My biggest career goal is to be a fashion reporter and have the chance to report from the runways, and this contest would allow me to do just that! As a journalism student, I want to broaden my experiences and broadcasting knowledge, and I would be so humbled to work with the parties involved.
I’ve never even been to New York, so this would be my “maiden voyage”. I would make sure to soak it all in and experience it to its fullest!
