I love combining pastels with basic pieces to create a feminine spring look. Last weekend, Ottawa and Toronto got a fresh dump of snow (nature’s April Fool’s joke!) so I was back to wearing my purple Hunter boots again. I wanted to create an outfit that was warm, but still felt like spring, so I wore my favourite mint coat with a pink sweater and accessories.
I’m wearing a mint coat c/o Sheinside, pink Tippi sweater from J. Crew, black jeans by Rich & Skinny, mint statement necklace from Forever 21, Moschino Barbie iPhone case, Michael Kors Selma bag, Pandora jewelry, and purple Hunter boots.

I love layering and combining pieces from Pandora’s Winter 2014 Collection. I love how cute the rings look, and the way they match the hardware on my bag. While I love dainty gold necklaces, I prefer to wear silver for everyday. It’s so easy to mix and match pieces and I find they look great with my favourite pastel pieces!
This Moschino Barbie iPhone case was a must-have when I saw it go down the runway. It’s so oversize and a bit impractical, but I love the fact that it has a mirror on the back and a handy handle! My iPhone case collection is always growing, but this one is obviously my favourite! It was by complete coincidence my nails matched the case too!
I love this look because while it looks dressed up, it’s so comfortable. All winter long, I’ve been pairing dark denim with Merino sweaters and layering statement necklaces and scarves to add a personal touch. The Tippi sweater from J. Crew is my all-time favourite, I already own a few colours and am always hounding their sale section for more! I love that they don’t pill, yet are as warm and fine as a cashmere sweater.
I think this look will also work for warmer weather, if I swap out my mint coat for a leather jacket or trench.
Love this color palette! The pink and mint look great together and so perfect for early spring! The purple Hunters are just too fun.
