Mint bow blouse

After a week of summer temperatures, frappy hour and cherry blossoms, Canada’s cold spring is back. I wore this warmer outfit (with a trench) to run errands and grab lunch. I love the feminine mint bow blouse combined with all-black everything. Over the knee boots were a fall staple for me, but I loved having the opportunity to wear them again!

I’m wearing a mint bow blouse from Target, over the knee boots from Chinese Laundry, waxed denim from Material Girl at Hudson’s Bay, double pearl earrings c/o Naked Pearls, an enamel bangle from Kate Spade and a quilted wallet on chain from Saks Fifth Avenue.

Isn’t the back of this mint bow blouse so darling? I bought it in cream and black too because I love the girly bows and peekaboo slit down the back. It’s great for work because you can wear a blazer or jacket over it, then you can wear the shirt straight out to dinner to reveal the unique slit down the back. 

This practical wallet on chain has been a go-to accessory lately. Its classic shape compliments any look and the functional pockets keep me organized.

I’d love to pair this mint bow blouse with a pair of white jeans or a cute black skirt once it gets warm out again! For now, I’m getting some mileage out of these transitional pieces and am having fun layering trenches and statement pieces!
