Leopard coat and Hunter Boots

Toronto has completely been covered in a magical layer of fresh, white snow. While I normally wear my trusty combo of my favourite black parka and Blundstone boots, I decided to elevate my winter wardrobe with a leopard coat and fun Hunter boots. This outfit kept me warm and cozy, and my feet were dry too!

I’m wearing a faux fur leopard coat by Erdem for H&M (similar faux fur leopard coat here), purple Original Tall Hunter Boots, the Xabrina cashmere sweater from Club Monaco, a brown leather skirt by Halogen from Nordstrom, gold face earrings from Simons (similar pair on Etsy) and a Gucci Marmont small shoulder bag.

This look is definitely eclectic, and with a lot going on, but I love how these classic pieces pulled together for a luxurious winter look. My inspiration was a 1960s “New York” look, with the ocelot (faux this time!) coat, quilted handbag and bell-sleeve sweater. I love how all the textures: leather, cashmere, faux fur combine for a cozy, layered look.

These earrings are very trendy right now, and while I couldn’t justify buying the real deal (I can’t wear earrings for more than a couple hours without getting irritated), these gold face earrings from Simons are perfect. They give that graphic punch to my look, and were super affordable at only $15! I’m definitely keeping an eye out on Simons’ jewelry and accessory lines in store.

As for my beauty look, I’m wearing metallic shades from the Jaclyn Hill x Morphe palette, and theĀ Patrick Starrr “Mamastarrr” lipstick shade from MAC. I love how this warm makeup look compliments the rich tones of my outfit.

While I would have preferred to wear a pair of black booties, it was so slushy and wet outside, I’m so glad I opted for these regal purple rain boots! The colour is much more fun than black, and I was able to walk around Yorkville without any worries of stepping into puddles.

I can’t wait to wear this leopard coat again soon! It’s been a great layering piece and instantly adds some retro glam to any look.
