Leopard Coat and Gucci Belt

This season, I’ve embraced a more minimalistic approach to styling. On weekends, I love wearing a simple all-black outfit with a fun coat, or a pair of jeans and sweater. One look I’ve replicated over and over is a chic turtleneck, high-waisted jeans, leopard coat and Gucci belt. A leopard coat stands out from the crowd and adds personality to a minimalist ensemble.

I’m wearing a leopard coat from the Erdem for H&M collection (similar leopard coat here), a black merino wool turtleneck from Uniqlo, Fidelity Denim skinny jeans, a Polene Numero Un bag in Bordeaux Crocodile, La Canadienne Jojo boots, a pair of Bvlgari sunglasses BV6088 c/o Smart Buy Glasses and a skinny Gucci Marmont belt.

This look is perfect for weekends and casual dinners. It takes a bit of courage to wear an all leopard faux fur coat, but I think if you have one hanging in your closet, you should embrace it! They make excellent toppers because they are super warm and add a sophisticated, vintage edge to your look. I wore this leopard coat to a Vintage and Antique market and received so many compliments on it. While I wouldn’t wear it to the office, I wore it to the ballet the night before over an embroidered gown for a more maximalist approach.

My La Canadienne Jojo boots (which I wrote about here) are also super sleek and add a bit of dimension in a beautiful burgundy shade. If you’re looking for a nice bootie, I love a pair in aubergine or navy for a nice switch up from black!

The right accessories can totally make a look, and I love how both my purse and sunglasses are unique designs! These Bvlgari sunglasses are mirrored and so futuristic. I love the shape of them, as well as the snake scale details on the sides. Smart Buy Sunglasses has so many options, and I love that this pair stands out from your classic aviator or tortoiseshell pair.

My Polene Numero Un bag is so beautiful, and I love the unique shape and croc detail. I will be sharing a full review of this bag soon…

Do you have a weekend uniform? I’d love to hear more about it in the comments below.
