Prom and wedding season is here, and it can be a strain on your wallet. I’m sharing a lace prom dress under $100 that you can wear again too! This lace dress is from Nordstrom and comes in a variety of colours. For $98 Canadian, the dress is a bohemian dream. With intricate embroidery, a gorgeous neckline and sexy leg slits, this lace prom dress is one you can easily wear again for years to come.
I’m wearing a Socialite Lace Overlay Romper from Nordstrom, suede pink sandals from Aldo, and vintage clip on earrings.
I kept it super simple when it came to accessories, and only wore vintage clip-on earrings. The lace neckline is an accessory itself! I decided to style it with a pair of pastel pink sandals, for an unexpected contrast. Too often, we stick to neutrals and metallics with shoes, but I personally love mixing pastel tones. I think this prom dress under $100 would also work with a pair of jewelled flat sandals (Fun fact: I actually went barefoot and wore flip flops to prom – no joke, I broke a toe dancing a week before), and this would totally work if you’re weary of wearing heels all night.
Another style tip for young women heading to prom- instead of a traditional corsage, a single long-stem rose is a more romantic option, or better yet, a floral crown or headpiece is a more modern approach.
This purple lace dress would also make a lovely option for your bridesmaids. Because it comes in a few colours, you could even do the mismatched look. With a chic updo or flower crown, this would be a lovely option for a bohemian wedding theme. Oh and the best part!? IT’S A ROMPER! That’s right. You can now benefit from leg slits and a see-through dress with the confidence of a pair of shorts. I don’t know how you could find a more perfect dress option… For the bride, it also comes in Ivory too!
