Apparently there’s snow falling in Toronto, and I’m scared to look out the window here in Ottawa. It’s hard to believe that only a month ago, I was wearing this little green plaid dress from Forever 21 with sandals and sunglasses! I wanted to share this look because I wore this dress again this week, but with emerald tights, leather brogues and a wool coat. I love wearing dresses with tights in the fall, and plaid is my newest obsession!

I love how simple this outfit, and that it’s versatile for early fall and winter. The green plaid dress works well with both tights and boots or a pair of sandals, and my navy Kate Spade purse is the perfect carryall.
How I miss sunny walks along the canal, but I can’t wait for the water to freeze to visit the Chateau Laurier on skates!
