A couple weeks ago felt a lot more like spring than today. There was no snow on the ground and it felt like spring blossoms were around the corner. I feel that around this time of year, my outfits are in limbo. I haven’t packed up all my boots yet, and even though I’m aching to wear a cute printed trench or leather jacket, I retreat back to a wool option. This outfit kind of captures that. Fresh, spring colours and details, yet still practical enough for the weather.
I’m wearing a ruffle coat from Target (similar here), a light pink dress c/o Nowistyle, Forever 21 belt and shoes, a Coach purse and Salvatore Ferragamo silk scarf.
I love adding a splash of colour with a bright bag against a black coat. This coral stunner from Coach is a new favourite. The satchel is functional and perfect for me… so much so that I also have it in mint and black! My mom found this coral one in a Florida outlet and was kind enough to bring it back for me. The model is the Coach Kristin, which is discontinued, but I’m also in love with this coral Legacy Tanner bag. I squealed over the girly colour, and I love how it matches my beautiful vintage Salvatore Ferragamo silk scarf (similar here). I bought this scarf a couple years ago at i miss you vintage on Ossington Ave. There was a tiny coffee stain, but I had it cleaned and love it ever since!
I wore this outfit to my anniversary dinner date with my boyfriend. A hint to our love was tied around my waist…
