A place called Paris

A place called Paris

It’s almost hard to believe that almost a year ago, I visited Paris with my family. I had always dreamed of visiting the City of Light, drinking wine in Montmartre and seeing art at the Louvre. I was going through photos over the weekend, and realized that this time last year, I was enjoying macarons at Laduree and walking along the Seine. In a city where every corner looks like a postcard, it’s easy to get nostalgic about the sights and sounds of Paris. Here are some photos from my trip.

I accessorized with an Hermes scarf, and a citron-coloured saddle bag. Cross-body bags are essential for being a tourist, but I love the trendy colour and shape of this one… it’s not your average LeSportsac.

paris notre dame

I was obsessed with the Hunchback of Notre Dame when I was little, so it was magical to catch the church right before evening mass, and as the sun was setting. We ate dinner around the corner, and while the food sucked (tip: never eat near tourist attractions), it was inexpensive and the view was beautiful.
