Black and lime + what’s in my beach bag?

All summer, I love lounging by the pool while reading magazines and novels. My favourite bikini to tan in is this lime Victorias Secret bikini, which has an underwire bandeau style for support and no tan lines! The bottoms are also super comfortable and are never out of place. I have this style in a couple other colours, but the neon lime looks so fresh against tanned skin, especially when worn with a black chiffon coverup.

I love the daring cat eye shape of these sunglasses, and the rose gold accents on the arms. When my hair is all beachy and messy, it’s nice to throw on a pair of chic sunglasses to upgrade your look.

As for my beach bag, when I’m at the cottage, I like to stick to the essentials. One of my favourite magazines, Toronto Life (it’s often too bright to read fashion mags on my iPad outside), some SPF and my broken-in flip flops.

This coverup is great for cooler days, or if you have fair skin and don’t want a sunburn! I’ve been bad this year, and after a couple of burns, I’m trying to cover up after I go swimming. This shirt style offers great coverage, and the chiffon fabric is very cool in hot weather. This piece is also versatile, and can be layered over another dress as a kimono, or over a sexy slip and tights in the winter! I think it will definitely accompany me on vacation in the future!
