A week ago, we were doing renovations and the unsightly bin outside my house proved to be an ok backdrop to a casual look. I’ve been wearing denim cutoffs a lot (to run errands, grab a quick bite or go on walks) and this pair is my new favourite.
I’m wearing vintage Levi shorts I bought at Value Village, burgundy slippers (similar here) and a script tee c/o Nowistyle.
I can’t believe these used to be awful early 00’s flared jeans. For $8 at a thrift store, they were cut and I used stamps and studs to decorate them. I made these at the Lookbook x Levi’s Global Style Party, and you can read about how I got the stamps to stay on here. I tried to incorporate images that represent my life… from the map of the world (I love travel), to the camera (for my love of photography and blogging) to my initials and a typewriter on the front!
This script tee goes with the casual vibe, and I love the way the writing looks doodled on. I have a lot of blush-coloured clothing, so this top goes with a lot in my wardrobe.
I’m wearing random gold wrings, my gold watch and a gold spiked bracelet c/o Cocoa Jewelry. I love the damask stamp on the front of my jeans! I can’t wait to replicate this effect on another pair too… I’m thinking of doing a pair of jeans with nautical seahorses and starfish all over… the next time Michaels has a sale, I’ll promise to share my next DIY with you!
