I feel like I’ve been spoiled with a delicious taste of summer for the past two weeks, but today, the party was over. I decided to wear a pair of waxed jeans (that I probably won’t be able to wear until fall again) and incorporate some other spring trends.
I’m wearing a black and white striped blazer from Urban Planet, a plain white tee, metallic snakeskin jeans from Makers Denim, and my gorgeous new hot pink Rebecca Minkoff Mini M.A.C. clutch.
It might seem daunting to pair snakeskin with stripes, but the metallic print doesn’t compete with the graphic black and white stripes. Mixing prints is fun to pull off this season, but always try to make sure the prints vary in size and do not clash in colour. In this case, I paired neutral black and white with a metallic silver, that almost washes out into a neutral gray.
I wanted to keep my shoes simple, and wore my favourite Zara asymmetrical court shoes.
To add a punch of colour, I wore my hot pink patent Rebecca Minkoff mini M.A.C. clutch. The bag is perfect for day or night, and you can check out my review on it in this video.
