What I wore: Nordstrom Eaton Gala

I wanted to share what I wore to the Nordstrom Eaton Gala, on the eve of the Nordstrom Yorkdale Gala! For this charity event, I wore a Kate Spade dress, Ferragamo Pola bow heels, Kendra Scott earrings and a quilted wallet on chain.

The Nordstrom Eaton Gala was so much fun. I came down to Toronto for it in the midst of my first week of school, but I loved the whirlwind trip! Guests got to walk the red carpet, get photos taken at a stop and repeat, and preview the store before it opened a couple days later. I also got to catch up with some fellow Toronto bloggers, Eleni of Bijuleni, Zeba of Ella Pretty Blog and Justine.

There was also a stunning fashion show, that showcased Nordstrom’s collections. I really enjoyed seeing some of Nordstrom’s luxe designer pieces—think Marchesa gowns—go down the runway. Celebrity guests included models Hilary Rhoda and Petra Nemcova, as well as Toronto Mayor John Tory in the front row. The best part, was that the gala raised over $270,000 for six Toronto-based charities! If you’re still hoping to go to the Yorkdale gala, tickets are on sale here.

I attended the event with my boyfriend, who had a lot of fun too! He wore a blue TopShop suit, and Dolce and Gabbana shoes.

I wanted a simple, timeless look. I love how this cocktail dress has both pastel pink and a deep burgundy. It is also very comfortable and even has pockets, which was perfect for snapping the night away!
