It’s that time of year again… when the leaves start to change and the stores are filled with designer collaborations. If you’re not a fan of Isabel Marant’s urban hippy chic for H&M, then 3.1 Phillip Lim will fill the void in your work wardrobe. Featuring over 100 pieces for both men and women, the collection is modern and cool. Here are my top picks.
3.1 Phillip Lim for Target bags
This is the reason I will line up at ungodly hours in the morning in front of a big box store. The collection has managed to capture 3.1 Phillip Lim’s signature trapeze shape and modern sensibility. While I love the yellow, I’m hopping to snag the large tote to carry all my essentials. While I’m not sure what the prices will be in Canada, we can hopefully expect they will ring in around or under $50. Not bad for a pashli.
3.1 Phillip Lim for Target workwear
My eyes went straight to this navy tuxedo blazer. I’ve been coveting a navy Smythe jacket for a while, but since I’m on a budget, this black lapel-led-beauty will do in the meantime!
3.1 Phillip Lim for Target Men’s line
I’m also coveting a couple of pieces from their men’s collection. From the functional carry-all canvas bag to the cozy sweaters, a classic trench and tees, I might pick up a couple pieces for my man.
3.1 Phillip Lim for Target casual pieces
I’ve always been a fan of Lim’s graphic details. This BOOM! sweater is so cute and a perfect way to usher in the fall season.
While underrated, I really loved the Prabal Gurung for Target collection. The dress I own is beautifully cut and the print is akin to a designer dress for 10 times the price. I hope this collection (especially the bags) will live up to everyone’s expectations!
