With Valentine’s Day only a day away, I wanted to share an outfit featuring the Peter Pilotto collection, which can be used as a guide for creating a toned down, sexy Valentine’s Day look. I paired the Peter Pilotto for Target peplum top with waxed skinny jeans, a leather jacket and red suede booties for a Valentine’s Day outfit idea that incorporates the theme of red, without overwhelming the whole look.
I’m wearing the Peter Pilotto for Target peplum top, waxed jeans by Material Girl, red suede booties from Amsterdam (similar here), a vintage red leather purse (similar here) and a leather jacket by Yvonne Lin. I also added the Peter Pilotto for Target sunglasses into the mix, because a couple of days ago, the sun and snow was blinding!
I love how red is incorporated into the Peter Pilotto for Target top, without overwhelming the print. I chose to bring out that red colour in my accessories, giving a nod to Valentine’s Day without being too obvious. This look would be great for work as well, so you don’t even need to change before your romantic Valentine’s Day date!
