Over the long weekend, I had a chance to enjoy the good weather in one of my favourite spots in the city – west Queen West. My friend and I indulged in some shopping and froyo, but I was amazed at all the cute new little pizza places and bar popping up along the strip. My favourites are definitely still Dark Horse for coffee, Terroni for Italian, Dufflet or Loblaws for dessert and the Drake for brunch. Here are some photos from our afternoon.
I’ve always wanted to take photos in front of this wall, and finally I did! I’m wearing a cream chiffon top from Abercrombie, a mint analogous hem skirt from Zara (last season but similar here), tapestry slipper flats, vintage sunglasses and a vintage snakeskin bag I bought from Stewarts Vintage in Montreal.
As we were walking down the street, we were amazed to see these two pimped up cars. Even the rims matched the paint job. They were driving so slowly down Queen too… everyone was staring.
It was so hot out, we had to have an ice cream break. I got pistachio, almond and dulce de lece flavoured froyo from Yogurty’s… it was the most delicious combination.
I couldn’t resist taking photos of this mint house across the road that matched my skirt to a tee.
