With summer around the corner, we can finally shed the layers and wear a cute sundress. While summer is a freeing season, there are so many occasions to shop for. From graduations, weddings and music festivals, summer is always busy. Fitzroy Boutique on Queen West (and online) have trendy items for all these occasions… and all ring in under $200. I stopped by the store a couple weeks ago to peek at their new arrivals. Here are some of my favourites. But first, watch their new video, Fitzroy Woman.
The video captures the essence of the store – trendy, fashionable yet casually effortless!
I loved their selection of jewelry, some of which were locally made in Toronto. The arrow bracelets were on trend and a steal at only $14.
My heart nearly stopped at the sight of the Ethereal Dress by Bless’d Are the Meek. I fell in love with this dress when I saw the Aussie brand’s lookbook, but loved the sheer chiffon with delicate seashell embroidery even more in real life. My friend told me to try it on, but I knew that would be trouble!
For a cute, casual summer look, I loved these studded cutoffs paired with the First Love Bustier. It’s a feminine look that could be worn to a festival or a day by the beach.
How awesome is this Fringe Pullover from Whitney Eve?
Fringe is such a hot texture right now, this neon ombre fringe skirt was full of movement, and cost only $79.
Zodiac t-shirts are another way to express your individuality.
Or you could express your style on your fingertips… with exclusive nail polish in pastel and neon shades from One Teaspoon.
This peacock turban was a statement piece on its own (nevermind with a cute dress as well), it looked perfect for my friend Dasha.
Last but not least, these siren shorts from Bless’ed are the meek are stunning and each distressed pair is unique. I loved the irridescent green and purple sparkles against the deep black. The sparkles almost look like glittering waves from far away… They are the perfect pair of cutoffs for a plain tank or silk blouse.
You can visit Fitzroy Boutique online or check them out at the BYOB Cocktail Emporium at 972 Queen Street West in Toronto.
