When I saw this t-shirt that read, “Stressed Depressed but well Dressed” at Brandy Melville, I had to have it. Graduating from university has many young adults in a panic about what to do with the rest of their lives (answer: go back to school), and while the shirt is self-deprecating, it’s also a little bit snarky and uplifting. Despite uncertainty at the moment, we’re still young and talented, and without a doubt, well dressed. I paired the crop top with a burgundy maxi skirt, floppy hat and large tote – which I’m giving away below.

While the temperatures last week were nearly balmy, I still wanted to put together a fall-inspired look. The hat covers up any bad hair days and the skirt is still breezy, yet the fall-appropriate colour brings the maxi skirt into this season. I wore the skirt with a cropped tshirt, but you could easily swap it for a long sleeved turtleneck or lightweight cashmere sweater once the temperatures drop.
I accessorized with some gold jewelry, including a dainty initial bracelet c/o She Bijou, my Michael Kors tortoiseshell and gold watch, and a large heavy gold bracelet Bobby Raffin gave me for my birthday. I love the play between dainty and heavyweight chains and the gold feels warm on the skin.
My bag is the perfect carryall to stash away a scarf or cardigan in case it gets colder later in the day. Roomy and convertible this bag goes with anything and you can win it by filling out the form below.
