This season, seventies-inspired prints have taken over the sartorial scene. From paisley to preppy gingham, prints in muted pastels and neutrals are a sure bet, which is why I couldn’t wait to wear this striped maxi dress from O’Neill Canada before the hot weather is gone for good!
When I wear a maxi dress, I usually like to wear flat sandals, but I really liked the way this pair of cork flatforms gave my height a boost and kept the dress’ hem from dusting the floor. These gold flatforms are c/o I Want Shoes, which is a Canadian e-tailer that sells high-quality Brazillian-made shoes. I was very impressed with the packaging and the make of these shoes. They’re very comfortable and stylish, the ingredients for a perfect pair of shoes! I feel like I could dance the night away in them. I also wore them all day at work with no problem. I’ll be packing this pair of flatforms on my next trip down south for sure.
I love the way this pastel striped maxi dress has a flattering v-neck and ruffle down the centre. The slit in the front makes it easy to walk around in too. The muted pastels are dreamy and I love pairing it with a vintage leather bag or a fun bright tote like I’ve done here! This striped maxi dress truly can be dressed up or down with accessories and would make the perfect beachy cover up.
I’m wearing the Skylar striped maxi dress c/o O’Neill Canada, Verona flatforms c/o I Want Shoes, an orange tote from Winners (similar here), and a St. Andrews Lady watch c/o Daniel Wellington.
