Last Monday, I had the opportunity to visit the cherry blossoms in High Park. On the west end of the city, the large park can be an escape, especially in springtime, when the trees turn into a gorgeous canopy of delicate white blossoms.
I dressed for the occasion in a chiffon rosette tank and floral palazzo pants. I accessorized with vintage sunglasses and a white gathered Coach Madison satchel.
I always find the park so peaceful, but this time, flocks of tourists and Torontonians came to see the sakura in full bloom.
We even found some cosplayers who were willing to take pictures with us, until one of them spotted a bee.
One of my favourite parts of visiting the park is being able to see so many dogs, and I fell in love with eight-week-old Bentley.
I also saw this little toy poodle who I thought matched my outfit! The owners were nice enough to let me snap some pictures with her.
The pond was full of life, but gave me a moment to look out on the water and breathe for a bit. I love how the pond is always a throwback to nature, with blooming trees in spring, beautiful changing leaves in the fall, and skating in the winter. Sometimes I’ll see people fishing, which is incredible when you think this is in the middle of our city. The Canada Geese were especially glamorous that day.
I couldn’t resist climbing into the nook of a cherry tree to relax and to look at the underside of the canopy of blossoms. Thankfully I was wearing long and breezy pants that day!

Ahww that toy poodle is so cute! Haha again you find something that matches your outfit. 🙂
I like the second picture with you in front of the water, because the background is blurry and just because it’s beautiful!
