Birkenstocks will always be a perennial favourite for summer. They are classic, but in a fun colour, like these rose gold Birkenstocks from DSW Canada, they can be a great pop to your outfit. Footbed sandals are great for travelling, running errands and walking around all day while travelling. My sister is a huge fan of wearing Birkenstock sandals for travel, and I might have to pack these ones for my upcoming trip to Portugal.
I love the muted colour of the stripes on this dress. It’s a great statement piece and it works with so many trendy accessories. I tried to stick within a colour palette here, focusing on warm browns, rose gold and mauve. My Baublebar earrings are so whimsical, I love the dangling shells and look forward to wearing them more this season.
This particular pair of rose gold Birkenstocks features a soft footbed. This means the sole is a lot more padded, and the arch support is slightly less aggressive. I have a really high arch, and find this style to be more comfortable over the traditional Birkenstock insole. I also find the soft footbed to have more cushioning, and is made from a softer suede… it’s literally like walking on a cloud.
P.S. I recommend purchasing your Birkenstocks in store, so you can get a great fit if it’s your first pair (it’s now my third, and the first time, I was fitted in Berlin!)
