A while back in the summer, Bobby Raffin and I did a shoot at the CNE. You can see the first half of the shoot here… but I wanted to quickly share these photos, since it’s been unseasonably warm so far this October. I know it won’t last long, but you can’t blame me for wanting to hold onto summer. My hair– on the other hand, is fairing a lot better now without the humidity.
I’m wearing a pomegranate printed romper, a floral backpack from Target and Minnetonka sandals. It’s a simple summer outfit where you throw on a one-piece, pack a cute bag and wear comfy leather sandals. It’s so much harder to get dressed in Fall, what with all the layers, varying temperatures and threat of rain, wind and even snow here in Canada. I miss the simplicity of summer dressing and the cheerful prints.
The CNE is always such a happy place… unless you eat a cronut burger! I love the sounds emanating from the midway, the lights, and the perfect view of Toronto from the exhibition grounds.
This outfit was comfy and cool for the midway. I love rompers because you don’t have to worry about skirts flying up, and the sandals are breezy yet secure at the same time.
