Pistacchio and Polka-dots

Move over mint. Lately, I’ve been obsessed with pale green shades that remind me of pistacchio McFlurries (they exist in Italy) and Laduree. This look is girly, combining lace, princess sleeves and polkadots. A couple weeks ago, on my way to dinner it started to pour… my shoes were soaked but when the sun peeked through, I couldn’t resist snapping a pic near Spadina and Bloor, in front of a green house I feel translated the colour palette of my outfit.

I’m wearing a green blouse from Urban Planet (with its lace panel and jewelled collar, it was a steal for $10), polkadot jeans from Topshop (similar here) and tapestry loafers. I also paired it with my vintage Coach city bag, perfect for stashing all my essentials!

I’m obsessed with the sheer lace panel. I find that lace has been an enduring trend, but I love the lace panel and how elegant it looks as a cut out in this chiffon blouse. I also love the long length of this top, which is perfect for skimming over boyfriend jeans or leggings.

And how darling are the princess sleeves? I find the cut so flattering, I wish I had found this blouse in more colours!
