Happy Easter to everyone celebrating today! I always see Easter as a sure sign spring is here, and this long weekend was no exception. I left frigid Ottawa for Toronto and I was surprised to see no snow and daffodils piercing through the cold earth. On Thursday, it was so warm, I was able to wear a pastel pink lace dress with no tights (!) but layered a pretty printed trench on top.
I’m wearing a pastel pink lace dress from Target, purple suede pumps, leather wallet on chain from Saks Fifth Avenue, Kate Spade hot air balloon hinged bangle, double pearl earrings c/o Naked Pearls, and a Pandora bracelet.

For Easter, pastels are a must, and I love pairing a couple solid pieces together. This pastel pink lace dress features an overlay and girly peter pan collar. I was a bit inspired by this rose bouquet, and paired the pastel pink lace dress with a pair of purple suede shoes. I was originally going to wear black shoes, but thought that this pair was more colourful and festive for Easter.
I’ve been obsessed with double pearl earrings and I fell in love with this pair c/o Naked Pearls. They are made from freshwater pearls and sterling silver and I love the fact that they provide three meals to Stop Hunger Now for every piece of jewelry purchased. This is a great mother’s day gift idea, and I love the way the pieces come wrapped as well! Pearls are such a classic item, but these double pearl earrings subverts it a little for an intriguing look.
This Easter, even though the snow hit the ground last night, I can’t wait to spend time with family, eat chocolate and decorate some Easter eggs. It’s been wonderful to take a break from routine and studying and I can’t wait for more spring weather to come.
