With rising temperatures, it feels like spring is slipping away into summer. A couple weeks ago, I could admire the beauty of flowering magnolias and take in their heady scent. Now, the leaves are out and my skin is already taking on a tan (if you could even call it that!) This look was inspired by flowers and spring.
I’m wearing a purple pansy-printed tee c/o Nowistyle, ombre floral pants from Primark, shoes from Forever 21 and a Rebecca Minkoff Mini M.A.C. clutch.
I love pansies because they remind me of spring. In Canada, we have spring days where you want to wear a swimsuit, and then days where you need to wear a tuque and boots… but the pansy can withstand all of that. So really, calling a guy a pansy would imply that he’s hardy and can withstand trying times.
I love my Rebecca Minkoff Mini M.A.C. and I think it adds a punch of colour into this look. I also piled on the jewelry and wore a white watch, which is perfect for summer!
Last, but definitely not least, I love my metal toe-cap flats. The gold caps are very reflective and add sophistication. I love pairing them with cropped pants like Audrey Hepburn. Once again, I’m digging the pansy print and didn’t realize till I edited the photos there are pansies also on the pants. Maybe I went a little bit too matchy-matchy, but it definitely completed the theme of the day.
Beautiful look! I love the colours and the print, it’s like painted flowers of Van Gogh, you know him and his paintings?
