Lately, I’ve been obsessed with the seventies vibe: prints, fringe and jumpsuits galore! I put them all together in one outfit with a paisley jumpsuit, fringe bag and sandals for a modern take on the 1970s trend. I love how a jumpsuit can be a transitional piece in the early summer months, I layered this one under a light trench with sandals for a casual look for dinner at Portland Variety. I can also see myself wearing this with a trendy choker and platform heels for a great party look. The 1970s was all about partying, and a practical jumpsuit is a great way to dance the night away – at least until you need to use the bathroom!
I’m wearing a paisley jumpsuit from Zara (similar paisley jumpsuit here), leather sandals from Zara (similar gladiator sandals here), and a fringe bag from Rebecca Minkoff.

After a cute dinner & cocktails at Portland Variety, Sydney and I went hunting for a cute wall to snap some photos at. We found this little alley complete with old brick masonry… a perfect backdrop for this retro-inspired look. To keep this look current, it was all about adding on-point pieces.
For accessories, I kept it real simple. This brown fringe bag really takes on the 1970s look, but compliments the print nicely. I’m also wearing a coordinates bar necklace from Anice in Kensington Market. I’m obsessed with these Zara sandals… I find they can go boho with a paisley jumpsuit like this, or more elegant with a simple dress. Nude lace up sandals are a must-have this summer and this pair is so comfy. This will be my go-to outfit for a last minute invite and patio season!
