It’s peak lilac season. I can’t help but bring in some fresh clippings to fill my home with their amazing smell. Yesterday, we snapped some photos with some lilac bushes while out exploring Doors Open. I wore a casual denim dress for a breezy summer look.
I’m wearing a floral printed denim dress c/o Reitmans, brown Bania sandals by Kelly & Katie c/o DSW Canada, a Gucci Marmont shoulder bag, tassel earrings from Kate Spade and bracelets c/o Alex and Ani and Paul Hewitt.
I kept this outfit simple and paired these brown faux-leather flat sandals to compliment the denim dress’ easygoing vibe. I love the gold hardware of these sandals, and that the footbed is padded.
This summer, I’m looking forward to wearing more comfy denim dresses and sandals. I find it’s so easy to get dressed, and be confident all day long. A nice denim dress is a great summer piece that you can dress up or down with accessories. A pair of camel hued sandals are also a staple that pair with nearly any summer outfit.
